Bill goes to a convent where he becomes troubled and after more births becomes more concerned about events with the nuns
Bill’s terror follows him all the way to Christmas as we uncover his past while piecing together why he is so angry. I think the film is important to watch, I thought it would focus more on the nunnery look and the crimes that happened, but this was Bill’s story.
Good watch, good performances, 7/10
I felt a pang in my chest the entire film, wanting him to say something, do something, but also knowing the consequences he and his entire family would face if they dared to question the church. The fact that these hellholes remained open until 1998 is a disgrace and a disgrace to this country, and the church, seeing the power the nuns and priests believed they were entitled to, was furious.
